This is the first screen of the reservation system which golfers will use. The background color or image is configured to match the design of an existing Website, or to create its own characteristic. The majority of text on this page is easily edited by the golf course member:

• The course staff can update the Current Conditions (including weather graphics and descriptive text) throughout the full day to reflect the current conditions, promote services or specials, inform golfers of course status, etc. The course staff can also elect to include an automatic time-stamp (shown above) for when the message and graphic were last changed. HTML "programming" is allowed in this description (as shown by the Weath er.com link) but it is not required.
  

• Users are prompted to Register prior to making a tee-time. Although registration is not required to view available tee-times, users will have to register prior to actually making the reservation. This system design has advantages both for the member course and for the individual golfers. The course benefits because once golfers are registered, the course gains a useful customer list which can be used in a variety of ways. Golfers benefit from registration (which is free) because, once registered, all that they need is their name and password to quickly make a reservation. Potential golfers don't have to register in order to see if a desired tee-time is a vailable.

• By default, course members can configure two playing courses. This can be easily and quickly customized for those courses which have a different number of playable courses.

• There is a further reminder at the bottom about registration. TeeNet uses 128-bit encryption technology (Secure Socket Layer) for registration and exchange of confidential data including credit cards.
